Grant of Probate

A Grant of Probate is a legal document issued by the Probate Registry that confirms the authority of an executor named in a valid will. It allows the executor to collect, manage, and distribute the estate in accordance with the will’s terms.

  • Applicants typically use form PA1P, and must submit the original will and relevant inheritance tax forms.
