The Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) is a government body responsible for overseeing the registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney and supervising court-appointed deputies. The OPG helps ensure that attorneys and deputies act lawfully and in the best interests of individuals who lack mental capacity.
